TRIGONOMETRIC FUNCTIONS Graphing And Analysis (Page 1 of 13)

In this topic we will consider the graphs of some trigonometric functions that involve transformations. Our goal will be to graph one complete period of the function in an "optimal" window, then perform some analysis using the graph.

Let's begin by graphing the function f(x) = 2+3sin(4x-pi). Before proceeding any further, make sure the calculator is in radian and function mode. The settings Radian and Func must be highlighted (these should be the default settings). If your calculator is not in the appropriate mode, use the arrow keys to position the cursor over the corresponding selection and press ENTER.
