Make sure both lists are of the same length. Each list should have 5 values. If you made a mistake, use the arrow keys to move the cursor to the necessary position in the list and re-enter the correct value. To make the correlation coefficient r appear, use the DiagnosticOn command found in the catalog.

 2nd QUIT key. 2nd CATALOG key. ALPHA D key. (You do not need to press ALPHA)

 Select the command DiagnosticOn:
 Down arrow key. (eight times) ENTER key. ENTER key.

You only need to perform this step once. The value of r will be displayed from now on unless you reset your defaults or your memory.
