To find the argument of the complex number, we will use another conversion command in the ANGLE menu. The result, since it will be an angle, will depend upon what mode the calculator is in (radian or degree). First, we will find the angle in decimal degrees. Be sure the calculator is in Degree mode, then enter the RtoPθ command.

 MODE key. [Degree] ENTER key.

 2nd QUIT key. 2nd ANGLE key. 6: menu selection. Negation key. 1 Comma key. Negation key.
 2nd Square root key. 3 Right parenthesis key. Right parenthesis key. ENTER key.
