We covered basic arithmetic operations with complex numbers in another topic. Now we will consider some additional features of the TI-83 and TI-84 from the MATH CPX submenu.

For example, let's find the complex conjugate of 5 - 3i. The conj command is used.

 2nd QUIT key. CLEAR key.

 MATH key. Right arrow key. Right arrow key. 1: menu selection. 5 Minus key. 3 2nd i key. Right parenthesis key. ENTER key.
