One application of the dot product is to find the angle between two vectors. Since the cosine of the angle between the vectors is equal to their dot product divided by the product of their magnitudes, we must find the inverse cosine of this quotient, invcosine(u dot v/(magnitude(u)*magnitude(v))).

Let's find the angle between the vectors <2, -5> and <3, 1>. First, make sure the calculator is in Degree mode.
