UNIT CIRCLE Circular Functions (Page 1 of 10)

The six circular functions are defined for any angle in radian measure using the coordinates of the point P where the terminal side of the angle (in standard position) intersects the unit circle. We can evaluate the circular functions by creating a unit circle in parametric mode.

First, set the calculator to parametric mode Par. The selection is made in the MODE window. (Also, be sure the calculator is in Radian mode for the examples that follow.)
