To graph the secant function (in dot mode), turn off function Y4 and turn on function Y5 in the function editor. (Notice that all six functions have their style set to dot mode now.) Then graph.

Observe that the period is 2π, there are no real zeros, vertical asymptotes occur at odd multiples of π/2, and the range is (-infinity, -1]U[1, infinity).
