Now locate the intersection point using the intersect command in the CALC menu. This command will ask three questions. You must select two graphs (there are only two for this example) and then enter a guess. The guess can be any x-value that is close to the x-coordinate of the intersection point. We will use a guess of -3.

 ENTER key. (Mark the first graph)
 ENTER key. (Mark the second graph)
 Negation key. 3 ENTER key.

The intersection point is approximately (-2.444, 4.5).
