RATIONAL FUNCTIONS Asymptotic Behavior (Page 1 of 5)

Let's explore the asymptotic behavior of the rational function f(x) = (5x+1)/(2x-3). We will do this from a numerical perspective using the TABLE. First, enter this function as Y1. It is important to enter the numerator and denominator in parentheses whenever working with rational functions. Then set up the TABLE in Ask mode (ignore the first two settings on the TABLE SETUP screen).
