Let's begin by graphing the plane curve defined by the parametric equations x = 2t-2sint, y = 2-2cost. First enter the functions in the function editor. Notice the function editor has changed to accept pairs of functions. We will use the function names X1T and Y1T. In this mode, the X,T,theta,n key. key we normally use for x will give us the parameter t.

 Y= key. (Clear any previous functions)

 2 X,T,theta,n key. Minus key. 2 SIN key. X,T,theta,n key. Right parenthesis key. ENTER key.
 2 Minus key. 2 COS key. X,T,theta,n key. Right parenthesis key.
