FUNCTIONS Evaluating A Function (Page 1 of 14)

There are many different ways to evaluate a function on the TI-83/84. Let's use the function f(x) = 3x^2-5x+2 and evaluate this function at x = 4.5. We can do this on the Home screen by storing the value of 4.5 into x and then entering the expression for f. This can be done efficiently with a single command line if we use the colon key.
