Let's begin by evaluating some simple numerical expressions. All computations are performed on the Home screen (press 2nd QUIT if necessary). Use the PLUS key to perform addition. Negative numbers are entered using the gray NEGATION key.

Try adding: 32.7 + 59.4 and then 1.918 + (-4.537). The ENTER key executes the current comand.

Notice in the second expression we did not include the key icons for the numerals. We will often just write the numerals in order to minimize the number of graphics required for the pages to load.
