ARITHMETIC Absolute Value (Page 3 of 3)

One application of absolute value is to find the distance between two points on the number line. Specifically, the distance between a and b is given by |a - b|.

Let's use absolute value to find the distance between 3/7 and -43/31. Since the numbers are fractions, add the Frac command to express the result as a fraction also.
