ANGLES Expressions (Page 2 of 2)

When calculating arc length, if the angle is given in degree measure it must be converted to radians. This can be done by changing to Radian mode, then entering the angle within the expression by using the degree symbol. For example, let's find the length of the arc intercepted by a central angle of measure 72.5° in a circle of radius 2.65 meters.

 CLEAR key.
 2.65 Multiply key. 72.5 2nd ANGLE key. 1: menu selection. ENTER key.
